Dr. Melanie Sturgeon is the Keynote Speaker for this event. She will be sharing with us  the topic: MAKING CONNECTIONS WITH SOURCES:  Our ancestors appear in a variety of records. We need to make connections with these records; most of them are not digitized or indexed by FamilySearch or any commercial entity. Learn about the various records held by state archives and county offices throughout the United States that can often help you break down those proverbial brick walls we all hit in our family history research.

This is followed by many classes that will range from how to research, various ethnic groups, land records,  writing your own personal history, organization, documentation, FamilySearch Family Tree and Indexing.
